This compact new four-storey building provides a self-contained centre of learning with high quality teaching, lecture, research and IT facilities. The facades are designed to follow the horizontal emphasis of traditional buildings on the campus but using modern materials.
The building makes the best use of a restricted site and is designed to provide a variety of spaces which allow for a combination of teacher-lead and individual study. The communal areas are designed to offer a range of facilities to encourage interaction between students, including a café and roof terrace.
