The locally listed Neo-Gothic building at The John Lyon School has been cleaned, restored and refurbished to provide a new sixth form centre with modern teaching and IT facilities. The essential elements that contribute to the character of the internal spaces have been retained and restored but the opportunity has been taken to provide modern services and equipment.
The original gloomy interiors have been converted into vibrant teaching spaces and a small glazed extension has been discretely added to the building to improve access.
